Southwest Seed Research uses a state-of-the-art 4-row SRES Precision Planter equiped with Global Plot Management.

Technology
Harvest & Software
At Southwest Seed Research, staying on top of technology is a top priority. SSR demands using GPS when planting and marking your plots. SSR can provide GPS coordinates right up to where your plot begins and ends. We use GPS to monitor our speed while planting as well as even using auto-steer when necessary.
Harvesting
Harvesting high yielding plots take a high performance machine. Southwest Seed Research prefers the Massey Ferguson 8XP.
Software
SSR really is proud of the Prism software they use to set-up the plots and run data analysis. Whether its printing off detailed plot maps or running detailed statistical analysis, Prism has made SSR's job efficient and error-free
